Reclaimed Antique Lumber
Reclaimed
- recycled antique lumber is lumber that is recycled from old barns,
homes, warehouses and other buildings. It is usually distressed, with
nail holes, bolt holes, and other marks and is sometimes stained. Many
consumers love the idea of it, especially in flooring, cabinetry,
doors, paneling, wainscotting, paneling or for furniture projects.
Reclaimed lumber is always sold as is - there is no grading system for
it as each location has different qualities. We have old heart pine,
red, black and white oak, barn wood of various species, cypress, and
other types available. We can mill it to meet your needs, or sell it as
is. We also have hand hewn beams.

first two rows are heart pine recovered from an old Virginia tobacco
warehouse. They illustrate that when milled, the wood has great
character, showing nail and bolt marks and other 'distress' marks that
add value.
